New works

This exhibition of oil paintings by Ribal Molaeb marks a new chapter for the gallery and highlights its connection with the artist. Molaeb's work is inspired by the Lebanese landscape, overlooking Beirut, a region marked by conflict. Though not a political artist, his paintings are influenced by Lebanon's history.

Molaeb, son of painter Jamil Molaeb, also has a background in music, holding degrees from Mozarteum in Salzburg and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. His musical training informs his visual language, where color becomes sound, space becomes silence, composition becomes rhythm, and light becomes resonance. His works aim to embody the warmth of the Mediterranean, the memory and resilience of Lebanon, and embrace peace.
