For Galleries

Zopart is run by one person, me, William Griffin. It started as a spreadsheet for me to keep track of shows in Brussels and is now a website covering Brussels and Paris. The site currently has 155 commercial contemporary art galleries listed.

Not Listed Yet?

If you run a gallery in Brussels or Paris that has a functional website, there is a good chance you are already on Zopart. If you are not and would like to be, please let me know you exist.

Claim Your Gallery Page

If you are listed, you are welcome to claim your profile — it's an easy process. Just create an account with an email on the same domain as your website, then you will be able to claim your gallery page. Then you'll be able to edit your gallery page, edit your exhibitions, and create new exhibitions. This is completely free.

All I ask is that I get the opportunity to come and meet you, so I can see how the site meets your expectations and get feedback on how I can improve things.

How Shows Get Added

The shows that are added to the site are not 100% automated. Each Monday morning I'm presented with a list of candidate shows. I then verify that the details are correct and use AI to generate a summary of the show based on the site description, which I read and edit before making it live. It's an enjoyable process and the perfect way to spend my Monday morning with a coffee. During the week I may pop into Brussels to visit the shows that I like the look of.

What's Next

This site is built in such a way that it is simple to add more cities. I am just mindful of the fact that there is only me working on this and it's not generating any income at the moment. But I love the process, so it is not going anywhere. Adding London or New York would be cool, but it would also increase my workload significantly.

Hopefully one day I will have a service that galleries find a useful marketing tool and will support my efforts through patronage. Then I will be able to spend more time on the project and roll out to other cities.
