The Auxiliaries

Tatiana Trouvé's exhibition, The Auxiliaries, presents new works across sculpture, drawing, and installation, exploring an intermediate zone where multiple realities coexist. The show features L’Inventario, a shelving structure alluding to the studio as a place of transformation and perpetual becoming, evoking absence rather than accumulation. Les Colliers des villes are bronze casts of collected objects, serving as condensed itineraries of encounters and lived experiences. I cento titoli, a work whose title changes over a century, features a floating suitcase representing temporal and conceptual journeys.

On the Eve of Never Leaving translates sound pollution measurements into lines and structures, giving material presence to an invisible phenomenon. Sitting Sculptures, from the series Les Ouvrières invisibles, highlights auxiliary materials used in sculptural practice, such as mattresses and lifting straps, revealing hidden labor. Drawings from the Les Dessouvenus series and new works titled Les Auxiliaires explore the porous relationship between drawing and sculpture, oscillating between chance and construction, with worlds emerging through chemically altered surfaces and preserved chance events.
