Anthem

Galerie Frank Elbaz presents Anthem, the first exhibition at the gallery by Japanese artist Yasuko Hirano. The exhibition features a series of recent abstract paintings that continue Hirano's exploration of themes such as the mental landscape, memory, repetition, and time.

Hirano states that for her, painting is not a method for preserving the past but rather a space where repetition fosters a connection to the present, allowing memories and sensations to be renewed and experienced as new time. The exhibition includes text by Kaz Oshiro.
